Kevin has been pushing the boundaries of gaming and engineering for over 16 years. He has shipped multiple AAA titles and served as CTO of Disney’s mobile game studio, Technical Director of ROBLOX, and Senior Engine Developer of World of Warcraft at Blizzard. With his passion for all things physics, Kevin hopes to take interactive entertainment to new heights.

Dr. Liu is a distinguished researcher known for his seminal work in character animation, physics-based simulation, motion control, as well as optimal control, reinforcement learning, and deep learning. Dr. Liu has published 6 papers at Siggraph and 1 paper at Eurographics, and has worked for Disney Research, the University of British Columbia, and Microsoft Research Asia.

She has put on multi-day conferences with organizations like Gray Area and Recombinant Media Labs, helped produce numerous creative code programs, spearheaded successful literary projects, and attended Reed College. Jiayi is an innovator and technical wizard. He served as a Technical Director at Pixar, bringing beloved titles to life like Toy Story 3, Wall-E, UP, Brave, and Monsters University. He has built simulation tools for complex materials and developed many patented technologies. Jiayi has given talks at Siggraph and has a Computer Science B.S.E and M.S. from Stanford.

Weihua Jin comes to DeepMotion with a decade of experience engineering 3D rendering, physics, and game engines. Weihua has worked for Piranha Games and Ubisoft and shipped many titles including Duke Nukem Forever, MechWarrior Online, Bass Pro Shop, and Days of Thunder.

Jakub’s experience has been a vivid mixture of academic and commercial projects. The primary domain and common denominator of all his professional activity is 3D visualization and simulation. Jakub holds a PhD degree on game physics and has spent hundreds of hours tutoring future engineers. He ultimately left behind academics to pursue the path of an R&D Software Engineer.

Stelian is a pioneer researcher in the fields of computer graphics, animation, and robotics. He is an assistant Professor at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to his work at CMU, Stelian was a principal research scientist at Disney Research Zurich.

Amit Karim has spent a decade working on AAA games. As the lead programmer for animation at Ubisoft Montreal, he worked on building an animation engine to power a new generation of AAA brands. Titles Amit has worked on include Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Rainbow6: Siege, amongst others.
